Résumé du concours

I want an exciting new look for my default software theme. I have tried to draft something in the attachment, so that you know approx how it should look like. But it isn't nice now, it is just to show location/elements to include - probably I would want even less color and lines. The design should look simple - less is more!

I want the site to use bootstrap, that makes it easier for me to build on and very easy to customise the css later. I have choosen this template:
http://getbootstrap.com/examples/jumbotron-narrow/. So you must use that template system when you make the html page.

Today, the software looks like this: http://demo.deltascripts.com/classifieds/ - alle the components should still be in your design suggestion. In addition, I want to have placed a region-chooser and a slider or image viewer of some sort above the categories. I'm also planning to have larger images/rows in the "latest ads" under all the categories.

Feel free to add features and play with different design - remember less is more and I do want max 1-2 color elements (just a few color elements of same color). The idea is that the site should be easy to plug into different websites - so it should be plain and almost boring! The one I have today is to mutch fun...

The regions box to the left can be turned off or on - so the design should allow for that. Width should be almost as in the bootstrap-template and centered. The Top Ads etc links should be discrete at the top and not as prominent as it is on my current demosite.

Rules: 1. Submit one design suggestion for the first page. If you win, I would require you to make a html-version of the frontpage and detailed page. 2. You must code it nice - use the bootstrap-css files and override any classes with changes so that I have a basic guideline for boxes and heading. 3. If I like what you have done, I may or may not hire you to help me with the other pages as well.

Please also note that I'm not going to choose a winner unless I'm really really happy with the suggestion.

I have been trying to extend/re-open the contest, but I haven't gotten any reply from the staff here at freelancer (I even got a (probably automated) message asking me if I needed help on the contest). Clicking "extend contest" only gives me the contest page and no options...

I'm checking with support if they can re-open. There is no such option to extend the time after it is closed and the only option is to Repost - where I get instruction that they will draw the total fee again and I'm asked to authorize.
