I represent Australia's largest fire dancing and juggling store, and we are looking to add a range of T-shirts to our range. We are looking at starting with 10 designs. So, depending on quality of entries, we will pick up to 10 entries to be produced as T-shirts for our new range.

Design is completely open. They may be funny, cartoon drawings, simplified photos, or purely artistic, anything. They can be very simple or very detailed. One line jokes, or beautiful complicated artwork. We will consider it all.

We will produce the T-shirts.

Screen printing is charged per colour, so we'd prefer colours not be wasted if a simpler colour scheme could be used instead. That said, the printer we have pre-selected can do up to 8 colours (7 if on a dark background). If there are two similar designs differing only in colour count will we select the one with the fewest colours.

Some hints to increase your odds of winning:
- Target market is UK English speaking. Colour is correct, Color is a hideous spelling error.
- Dark colours are valued as they do not stain black from fire dancing.
- Does not *need* to be T-shirts. We will consider prints on other items on clothing if a design requires it; tank tops and singlets are safe choices.
- The less colours, the easier to print. An awesome design may be worth 8 colours, but a simple design should use only 1 or 2.
- Designs that stay entirely within a 18cm x 18cm square centred on the chest are going to be the simplest to print, so a simple design should stay within this area. We will of course consider any design no matter how elaborate even if every last strand of fabric is printed on.
- The higher the resolution the better. We will consider vector graphics and 600dpi bitmaps as being equal.
- Political messages, sexual innuendo, and religious referencing designs will be considered, but unless the design is awesome we'd prefer the designs are child safe and inoffensive.

Just did a big run of feedback through all the unrated designs. To understand my ratings, see the hints up in the design breif.

Some general feedback:
- a lot of designs are very colour heavy and would cost a fortune to get screen printed, and so many lose a star or two just for this.
- several designs have text which I feel brings down the design, they contribute no extra meaning that the artwork didn\'t imply, and add a level of awkwardness for having to explain the context. #15 - #19 and #23 I feel would benefit greatly by simply removing the text.
- my only gripe with #11 is the words \"2013\" appearing in there, as it almost puts an expiry date on the design. Duplicating the text \"All new\" from the top of the seal instead of the 2013 is probably fine. Or I could just photoshop it every few years :-)
