40th Anniversary Logo

Contest Brief
In 2015, our company will turn 40 years old. I need a logo that says:
40 years
1975-2015
and it should incorporate this logo into the design:

I'd like a modern design, something that you would expect to see Red Bull use if they turned 40.
The logo should be red and black on a white background. Red pantone: 186c

So, I see the winner used the same logo elements and style in two contests .. and may be he using it everyday in his work .. this is not good big man :)

I don't mean to be argumentative but after reading that. I will ask you to read that back and ask yourself if you are going to get a logo designed by Red Bull or Adidas designers for $100. You have communicated very little except to say my logo didn't look like a logo. Anyway I'm bowing out. Good luck everyone. You are so going to get a flood of football logos now.

Thank you for the submissions. So far unfortunately I have not seen any designs that I like. I want a professional logo that I can use in 2015 that shows that we are 40 years old. Please look at the logo that you have submitted and ask yourself 'would Nike, Adidas or red Bull use this logo?' I have been searching online to try to get some more inspiration, but it has been hard to come by. Please do not copy this logo but it is an example of something that I could use for this project:
