I am looking for someone to help me create and maintain a social media presence for an upcoming triathlon event. I am looking to focus mainly on Facebook, though Instagram and Twitter will also be utilized. The content that will be produced to promote the event will be a combination of photos and videos, as well as text-based posts. The primary target audience for this event will be athletes and sports enthusiasts. I need someone who is able to create compelling content that will appeal to this target audience and maintain a positive presence on all social platforms. The ideal candidate will have a deep knowledge of all three social media platforms – Facebook, Instagram, and Twitter – and have experience with creating successful campaigns on each platform. The challenge we have had for 3 years is that we are not getting known to the potential participants and sign up is generally word of mouth. We would love to attract more participants to our race and get them to sign up earlier than they do today. We offer three shortest distance races and we offer both (run then bike then run) and (swim then bike then run) and relays. If people can ride a bike and run they can participate. If they only do one event they can form a relay team. If they swim bike and run we offer very short distances for their first race to see if they like it. We are known as a fun urban race with lots of safety measures along the way.
