About Sky Nations
Sky Nations is an international aeronautical consultancy firm specialising in regulatory compliance, procedure implementation, operations manual writing, long-term operational support, and post-holder placement for air operators worldwide. We work across multiple jurisdictions and aircraft types, supporting both private and commercial aviation clients at every stage of their development.
Project Overview
We are launching a logo refresh project with three closely related deliverables:

Sky Nations — Master Logo — a modernised version of our current logo, bringing a cleaner and more contemporary feel while preserving brand recognition.
Sky Nations Malta — a country iteration for our registered Maltese entity.
Sky Nations France — a country iteration supporting the opening of our French branch.

The existing master logo (light and dark versions) is provided as an attachment and serves as the reference for the refresh.
Design Direction
The three versions must form a cohesive family. The master logo sets the standard, and the two country iterations should be near-identical to it — differentiated by one single, consistent design detail only (e.g. a subtle flag element, a colour accent, a typographic suffix, or a discreet graphic marker). The distinction must be immediately readable without breaking the visual unity of the brand.
The system must be replicable: future country iterations should follow the exact same logic.
What We're Looking For

Professional, sleek, and modern — aviation-inspired without being clichéd
A scalable design system that works across digital platforms, printed documents, and official correspondence
Strong visual consistency across all three versions — a family, not three separate logos
Versatile formats suitable for light and dark backgrounds

Deliverables
For each of the three logos (Master, Malta, France), the designer must provide:

A light version (for use on light/white backgrounds)
A dark version (for use on dark/black backgrounds)

That is 6 logo files in total, each delivered in:

Vector format (AI, EPS, SVG)
Export-ready raster formats (PNG, PDF)

Additionally:

A simplified/icon version of the master logo (light and dark)
Brief colour palette and typography guidance applicable to all three versions

Budget
$200 — awarded to the selected design.
Timeline
Submissions open for 2 weeks from the contest launch date.
