People, you are allowed to break the rules... Take the boy out of the canvas (painting context)... I'm looking for the The Crying Boy XXI (century). Is he 2D? Is he 3D? Is he real? Is he a Farmville character? He's still a boy though. Be creative, be unique! :)

  When I've asked if he's 3D he doesn't really need to be 3D. I mean the painting (background canvas + the boy) could be reinvented with two separate layers being it one real (like the background canvas) and the boy more similar to the original painting. That would enable me to print the background and the boy in different layers. I would then add extra width/height to the boy's layer and would create a "3D" effect... It's more a width effect... I know this is strange but this has been done already.
