We need a new design for our medical machine (permanent hair removal, rejuvenation). The housing of the machine is now produced in China. All the machines coming from there have a kind of "china look" As the machine will be made in Austria soon, we need another (more european) look. But the machine housing will be still produced in china. Therefore we would need a new housing that is put over the old one.
A design shall be suggested, it should look simple, modern, a bit futuristic, and as a medicine machine reliable and serious.
Colours: Please check www.s-impl.com for colour pattern. Orange, white and grey would suit.
This contest is just for the first design. If we like a suggestion, and if it’s within the designer’s competences, he/she will be hired for detailed work. (material, constructional drawing…)
Please also redesign the socle: On the picture, you can see a small desk, which is the socle (the foot) where the machine stands on (not fixed) We need another better, easy and cheap solution.
Some space for the cosmetics used during the treatment shall also be considered. Following things are used: the ultrasonic gel (in a tube), and some small stuff like a brush, some glasses and a pen.
Don’t forget the holding for the hand sample.

Congrats to the winner but what makes this design 'not Chinese' but European? -Would you honestly choose it over the existing model if both sat side-by-side on a shelf? - Serious question, not trying to be rude (but a little disappointed, though).
