We are looking to design a "Canadian" themed (but not necesssarily using canadian flag) logo for an app book development company. We need the logo to appeal to young readers (2-12 year olds) and still be able to brand it in future development. The most important thing is that it must be clean, appealing and usable and multiple ways (as a mini icon an app icons (corner little logo no bigger than 20x20pixels) but work in full screen (If it is too busy it will look like a big blur).

Old logo is included but PLEASE DO NOT WORK WITH IT. NEEDS TO BE COMPLETELY CHANGED. The only reason I am adding it is because I wanted you to have an idea of what the old logo is.
