Hello Talented Freelancers!

Sorry I can't offer much in terms of a prize for this contest but we're hoping someone with more design skills than us will be able to quickly change our logo without too much work. We just want to change the f/p part of the logo and slightly change the circle for which details are given below.

We are open to new ideas as well so if anyone has a brilliant logo in mind that's better than our current one, please feel free to submit it :)

Onto the Logo, starting with what we like, followed by what we'd like to change:

We like the idea of the interchanging f/p symbol and thought it might look good to have a spinning version somewhere on the website to show 'compassion, comfassion, compassion' and so on. We also like the fact that the symbol can be used by itself. We're planning on having a tiny tag on each T shirt sleeve which will have the symbol on. For that reason the symbol had to be really simple as the tag will be small.

We find the execution of the f/p a bit distracting as it breaks up the workmark ("Is it an F? An upside down P?", etc). We think it may look better as a script character - an "f" with a descender tail that could curl to the left and form a P in a more subtle way. This could still work if the letter spins and the viewer will have a clearer understanding that the letter is indeed an "f" and not an upside down P. We would also like the circle to still be full and round but be cut off differently with horizontal ends rather than the slight angles they're at now.

The Not-For-Profit is called Comfassion (which blends the term Compassionate Fashion). Our aim is to create and print artistic designs which raise awareness of global issues onto ethical T shirts. All of the profits will then go to charities which are working to solve those issues. So for example, one T shirt will have a design which raises awareness of human trafficking. The profits made from the sales of that T shirt will then go to safe houses and counselling for survivors of human trafficking.

The T shirts will be made from sustainable and/or recycled materials and we will work to the highest possible ethical and environmental standards at every level of manufacture.

Thanks for the entries everyone. At the moment we would like to stick with something as close to our simple design as possible but with a softer f/p, the rest of the logo can stay the same. We will consider completely different designs as long as they're clear and simple. Thanks :)
