Our company has been known as **Promotional Consultants, Inc.** (and "PCi" to many clients) for years. We're shortening our name to **Promo Consultants** and want a fresh visual identity to go with it. The new logo may incorporate letters (PC, PCI) or may be purely symbolic/wordmark-based — we're open to creative interpretation. --- About Us Promo Consultants is a B2B promotional products company. We don't just sell swag — we build **custom online platforms and technology programs** that help large companies use branded merchandise, apparel, and premium items to run their businesses more effectively. We build custom software platforms. - **Connection and partnership** — we connect brands to their people and customers - **Celebration / recognition / engagement** — there's a warmth to what we do; people receive things that make them feel valued - **Versatile** — the mark needs to work on apparel embroidery, web, business cards, and large-format printing - needs a horizontal and vertical version, as well as a 1-color and multi-color version --- Style Preferences - **Clean, modern, and timeless** — not trendy - Strong **typography** is essential. We're open to custom letterforms. - Consider both an **icon/symbol + wordmark** combination, **and** a wordmark-only version - Should work in **single color** (one-color print, embroidery) as well as full color Color Direction (open to designer input) - A confident anchor color - Optional warmer accent — but not required - Avoid: overly bright/childish palettes, "party store" aesthetics --- Things to Consider Incorporating (Optional) - Letters: **PC**, **PCI**, or initials integrated into a mark - Subtle nods to: gifting (ribbon, tag, box), connection (interlocking shapes), recognition (spark, star, burst), or our tech platform (layered/modular shapes) - A monogram that hints at our legacy "PCi" mark without copying it What to Avoid - Generic clip-art style swag imagery (t-shirts, coffee mugs, pens) - Overly literal "promotional product" symbols - Heavy 3D effects, gradients, or visual clutter - Anything that looks dated, like it belongs in 2005 - Cliché "handshake" or "globe" business symbols --- Deliverables - Primary logo (horizontal lockup) - Secondary logo (stacked or compact version) - Standalone icon/submark (maybe) - Color, single-color (black), and reversed (white) versions - Final files in vector format (AI, EPS, SVG) plus PNG and PDF - A short rationale explaining the concept --- Naming Note Our official company name remains **Promotional Consultants, Inc.**, but the brand going forward will be **Promo Consultants**. Please design for "Promo Consultants" — that's the name that should appear in the logo. --- Anything Else? We love seeing multiple directions.
