We are at start-up company, very small home-based business. Our theme is "Preserving Your Memories." What we do is convert analog memories into digital formats. This means scanning pictures, negatives, slides into JPG files. We also convert video tapes (like old VHS or camcorder tapes) to DVD/Blu-Ray). Last we can convert old 45's and 33's records and cassettes into MP3 files or CDs.

We want the feel to be a nostalgia type theme. When a customer sees our literature/web site, we want them to feel a longing and burning desire to look at their old memories (pictures, family videos). They will want to convert these to digital formats because:
1. They will be preserved forever. The photos, video tapes and records deteriorate over time and can be destroyed.
2. They can be shared with family…kids, parents, friends, etc.

I'm not really looking for a specialized Logo, more of just overall graphics. My web site is going to be extremely simple...like maybe 2 or 3 pages...so I just want a simple background image. The name of the company is "Andrews Digital Services" but that will probably change to "Andrew's Digital Memories" or something about memories. I want the design to be more about memories and not about focusing on technology. Like I would rather have pictures of family rather than computers scanning pictures.

What I want built or found is:
* A few Pictures I can legally use on my website (3-4)
* Business Cards
* like a 3x5 or 4x6 or similar marketing type pass-along cards
* 8.5 x 11 flier
I want them all to have the same look & feel, same fonts, etc.

I do not want help building a full web site at this time, maybe later.

Never done this before, so please ask me questions to help you figure out what I need.

  for the business cards, I gather your first name is Andrew but what is your last name, or would you prefer to just have the contact details from your website? Also there is a lot of text above to fit on an info card and flyer, can we summarise the info you have sent? or maybe you would be better asking for a 3 fold brochure rather than a flyer. Photo Services:
Do you have photographs that you would like to preserve digitally? We can convert your older photographs into digital files so you’ll have them forever. We will perform a high quality scan of each file and give you a DVD with the original full size images. We can also add a lower-quality image that would be suitable for posting on Facebook or other social media sites. The cost for this starts at $0.40 per picture for 600 dpi scans! Higher resolutions are also available.

We can also convert negatives and 35 MM slides as well. Options for additional DVDs or Flash Drives are available. Additional services, such as creating slides shows and adding music, are available.

Video Services:
Do you have older VHS and Camcorder tapes that you would like to preserve digitally? We can convert those to digital files so you’ll have them forever. We will first convert them digitally, and then create a DVD or Blu-Ray disc for you! We can also provide you with the original AVI files on a hard drive or flash drive if desired, and other conversion options are available. The cost depends on the length of the tapes, but a standard 2 hour tape (or under) copied to DVD will be a mere $17,! Longer tapes will be an extra $2 per 15 minutes of video.

Additional services such as adding chapters and video editing are available.

Audio Services:
Do you have older vinyl records that you would like preserved digitally? We can convert your records, both your 45 and 33 1/3, to a digital format for you! We can also convert cassette tapes to a digital format as well.

First, we convert your record or cassette into a high quality digital format and convert each track into a separate file. Next, we label each file correctly and "tag" them with the correct data. Last, we create the album and make either a true audio CD (which can be played in a CD player) or create an MP3 CD for you.

The first CD is just $0.99 per track on record or cassette. If you want an additional audio CD or MP3 CD, they are available for just $0.99 extra.

More info about the company: I hope this will help fill in what kinds of services we do, so that some of this would be put on the fliers. Probably not all of it, because it is too much.

Logo:
I don’t really need a new logo. On the business cards and stationary/fliers, I just want a pattern or a picture.

Criteria:
The most important part of this project would be fliers and pass-along cards (like the 3x5 or 4x6 or whatever size works the best). I’ll have a very small web site, but I’ll want it to have the same look & feel as the cards/fliers. So I want the graphics to be reusable for other formats, like the web or other future pieces.

Pictures:
I kind of prefer stock images because they are free. However I would be willing to pay for pictures as long as the cost isn’t too much…like $50 or so…but I need to be able to use them on my web page as well as fliers/cards. If this is not a reasonable request, please let me know. I do not own any images today.

1) I just need to know your design evaluation criteria - this is because you have multiple elements in this contest. ( pictures, business card , pass along cards, flyer). Other contests generally has one element and so evaluation is easy.

2) what will be content for pass along cards and flyers ?

3) I have checked your website, but I have not got any information which is required for business cards. Can you please update that. Further do we have to design logo as well to incorporate in business cards?

4) Whether pictures that you will be using on website can also be used on flyers and pass along cards?

5) Do you want stock images or images from our own stock?
