Contest Brief

If you are a creative designer with expertise in packaging design (for both aspects of graphic and industrial design), then this contest is for you.

In this contest, we would like to invite you to create a packaging design for a fitness product. The evaluation would be based on the following requirements:

1) One 6"x10"x12" foam cushion & strap per packaging (as shown in photo)
2) Ship-ready (i.e. the packaging needs to be shipped)
3) Cost-effective in mass production
4) One-for-all packaging 6"x10"x12" foam cushion
5) The style should be simple yet iconic; and elegant yet creative. *This is exactly what this contest is looking for. We understand this is the most challenging part. So be ready to surprise us with your talents!*
6) Last but not least, the packaging design must be original and without any copyright infringement.

Based on the above requirements, you are free to express your creative work in whatever materials and designs as you see fit. We would like you to unleash your imagination without limits. You are also free to choose any form of presentation for your first entry, e.g. computer graphics, hand-drawn drafts, prototypes, photos or whatever combination you can think of...

The above is all the information you get; create something out of it to impress us. There will not be any more information provided unless you are selected as a finalist. We shall screen through all the entries and select a few finalists who will then be given further instructions and more details to proceed to the final round. The winner will be chosen from the finalists and the final work needs to be print ready (vector files required). We thank you in advance for your participation.

What does the product do? Can you give some information about the product's function and it's intended audience? For example: Is it a fitness aide for new moms? A fitness toy for children? An exercise device for professional athletes?
