Contest Brief

We are opening a new “cool” burger restaurant, and need a new logo designing for it, as part of this logo we would be keen to work with the successful person to design the menu. In your submissions please put in a sample design menu, this will help to visualize the end to end proposition

A bit of background on the company & the guys pulling it together

The main face of the company is an up and coming young bodybuilder who does a lot of work in the community and has been recognized from the local council as being a real ambassador for good work in the community.

As part of his outreach into the community he will be using the restaurant to help people in the underprivileged

The burger restaurant will be serving good quality burgers with a rustic theme to the entire place. There is a lean towards a yellow & black theme but are not precious or confirmed to this at this point.

The logo will be used on the company site, facebook, twitter, front shop and so needs to be simple to print and make as well as distinct with an ability to quickly differentiate between others

The name of the restaurant will be “XL”

Hi there, just wondering if this is more of an informal, bright fast food joint or a formal sit down, "classy" place. Trying to get a better understanding of your audience, as it would have an effect on the feeling of the logo/color scheme. Thanks!

General feedback, the logo needs to be something that can easily reproduced on to T-Shirts etc, and while looking cool it has to be quite sleek. The designs should come on a specific (chosen by the designer) background color as that is the same color the menu will be printed in
