Our current logo’s icon has strong recognition in our market, yet the overall look now feels a little dated. The goal is to modernize it while keeping that core symbol intact and shifting the rest of the design toward a clean, minimalistic aesthetic. We want to stay with our Firefighter founded branding. USING BOTH LOGOS TO MAKE 1 SOLID LOGO

What can change:
• Color palette and typography are open for fresh ideas that pair naturally with the existing icon.
• Layout, spacing, and proportions may be refined for improved legibility across print and digital touch-points.

What must remain:
• The original icon/symbol maltese cross should stay recognizable, though subtle simplifications or line-weight tweaks are welcome if they help achieve a more contemporary feel. BOTH LOGOS MADE INTO 1

Deliverables
• Editable vector file (AI or SVG) plus high-resolution PNGs in light, dark, and transparent variants
• A brief style sheet noting colors (HEX/RGB), fonts, and safe-use guidelines
• Mock-ups on common assets (business card, social profile, small favicon) that demonstrate legibility at multiple sizes

Acceptance criteria
• Icon clearly matches the original yet looks sharper and cleaner in a minimal style
• All text remains crisp at 16 px and above when exported to web formats
• Final files open correctly in Adobe Illustrator without missing fonts or linked images

CH, you need to watch out, most entries are going to be AI generated, 99% AI, these scammers will literally post HUNDREDS of AI images each but you can spot them, watch out for them dropping all entries super fast. Keep in mind a solid design takes time to create, so multiple different entries in a row is impossible. The easiest way to spot them is typing their name into 'Search Entries' so you can see their pattern of spamming and how fast they are posting entries. ALWAYS SEARCH NAMES. I can not stress this enough, every single entry you like the look of, SEARCH NAME.
