Migrate a Magento website to Wordpress without losing SEO

I have a website which sells turn key drop shipping websites. The website is set up on Magento but I would like to take that website down and put a Word Press website instead. My concern is losing the SEO and traffic that has been been built up over the last few years. I could keep the Magento website but it is too complicated to use and make changes to. Since the focus of the website will be drop shipping education via affiliate links and Shopify store creation, it seems a Wordpress website can be more easily managed.

Please respond to the answers to the following questions to be considered:

1. How would you migrate a website from Magento to Word Press without losing much of the SEO? Or is this even adviseable?

2. Would it be better to scrap the whole website migration idea and start over from scratch, keeping the same domain name and then creating a simple Unbounce landing page?

3. After migrating the website what 3 things would you do to improve SEO?

4. Based on the little bit of information I have provided what theme would you use for a simple affiliate marketing website and blog?

5. It seems that a Shopify store might be better since we will be offering development and design services in addition to our courses in drop shipping but Shopify doesn't seem to be as good as Wordpress. Is this true or are we off the mark?

6. What plugins would you use for SEO on a Wordpress website? Basically, how would you set up a Wordpress website using best SEO practices and methods to drive traffic to the website?
