I need business cards for my job as a performer. I want them to have the following information
Name: Hugh Weiss
Email Address: HughAW0@gmail.com
Phone number: 0448270542
They should also say that I perform magic and Fire Spinning.

The information does not need to be in the format above, the performance types and especially the magic should be emphasized. I would like the design to be memorable but not gimmicky or tacky (a lot of magicians use things like playing cards with their details on them and I do NOT like this approach.) I just want an abstract, stylish design that people will remember.

I intend to judge the contest by looking at all the applicants, walking away for half an hour then picking between the ones I remember so if your design is not memorable, it will not win. Good Luck.

      Still can not understand by what logic the contest holders choose the winners? The design it is more than disgusting and bud design quality.

    Just for information, most of designs here are very KITCHY and complicated images so when you print it as a business card the image will look horrible. Images used by sergioramon are taken from other magician website or presentation so be careful what you consider later as proper design.

    About your brief you said that YOU DONT LIKE USING CARDS AND YOU DONT LIKE THIS APPROACH, but you didnt consider it while rating designs. I am confused than :)

      Totally agree with Studio7L. Designers should not only understand how to make things look great, but also how to make things look great WITH A PRINTER.

      @santudey013 ... image as that is not protectec by copyrigt because it is just optical illusion this is no way to be protected, BUT images or whole background can be so this is different, think about it. But it is true that sometimes using some images from google is normal but I doubt that anybody at contest will buy those images for 30USD or more just for contest

      @dimitarstoykov all these designs are copied or used from somewhere else.
      There is no issue in copying something if it is not COPY RIGHT PROTECTED.
      It all depends how u assemble what u have copied.

      And @dimitarstoykov .., u urself have copied a complete design .., so better dont blame others ...

      Make a difference between using as background and using as object. In #7 the abstract photo is clearly used as background, can be tiles, wood, marble, leather, fire, green grass or blue sky, any texture...My unique thing is the way i represent the name and the shape of the created logo. At least i made 4 different variations...what about yours? One unique copy/paste and wholaaaa - i am designer :)))

    Ok, a lot of these are absolutes gorgeous but need to be a bit more memorably. #3 and #21 are great because they have a very unique image accompanying them and #15 and #7 are awesome because there is a lot going on but it all works together.

    A few of you need to make a few slight changes but I've been trying to do that in private messages so no-one can steal the design, make the modifications and get the credit.

    I tend to perform in red and black and I have been liking that color scheme.

    Putting in photos of the cards sitting on a table or in the hands is fine (e.g. #20 ), just make sure that you always include a photo of both sides flat on to the page (formatted like #4 #38 ...)

    Also, for clarification, this is fire spinning http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Pz30WRg2JBo that's not me, so don't use any of it in the design but that what I mean by fire spinning.
