Résumé du concours
My name is Mac. Yes, I know. Strange name for a Jew. Long story :-P
Anyway, here's the shtick, I am an aspiring rap artist, just getting started in the game [Feel free to check out my YouTube Channel: https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCYh0vZt-4iQ0dxQjU7EUFSw]. My project here is all about officially producing my Mac Djinno Logo to build-up the brand :) The artist who can best capture my vision will be rewarded 1000 pennies! Yes, that's 100 U$D ^_^
My idea for my logo is comprised of four primary, non-negotiable motifs, with *flexible* corresponding colour schemes:
1.) Ouroboros (Gold/Orange)
2.) 3 Koi Fish, 1 Head (Gold/Orange)
3.) Flower of Life & Metatron Cube ("FL & MC") Design for Background (Electro-magnetic-like)
4.) Specialised Hebrew lettering "Mem" & "Jimmel" (using what's called, in Hebrew, "tagin")
[Please find visual examples-photos attached]
Now, allow me to explain:
The Ouroboros motif should act as a frame for the logo. The Koi Fish and the FL&MC Design, absolutely, MUST be positioned inside the Ouroboros (NOTE: The tails of the 3Koi Fish, however, should overlap the Ouroboros or appear to hang off the sides of the logo)
***IMPORTANT TO NOTE: I personally—and only more recently—have fallen in love with the idea of using a GOLD-ORANGE-Electric PURPLE colour-scheme, as gold is an excellent conductor of electricity!***
At some point in time, I hope, our logo will go on shirts, hoodies & other accessories, Yah Willing. Looking for tattoo quality & a lotta BLING! Would love the logo to have a celestial and psychedelic sort of vibe/style to it ^_^
As for the Specialised Hebrew Lettering, I think they look best in the center of the Koi Fish Head.
Hebrew is written from right to left so Mem-Jimmel would be written in the order, as follows:
PLEASE NOTE: The dot (Heb. "dagesh") inside the Jimmel. Very significant. Please include in the logo.
Obviously, Mem-Jimmel are my Initials; Mem for "Mac" & Jimmel for "Djinno."
As pointed out, I would like the use of "tagin," or a "tag," employed here (For complete definition see here: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Tag_(Hebrew_writing)
(:Please also see here: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Ouroboros)
"The ouroboros or uroboros (/ˌjʊərəˈbɒrəs /) is an ancient symbol depicting a serpent or dragon eating its own tail."
It's also important to note here that I would like the Ouroboros to be depicted going COUNTER-clockwise.
I would also like to emphasise that the Serpent must have >>>scales<<< It's important here, being that the Koi Fish will ALSO have scales. They could most definitely compliment one another, and really should.
The Ouroboros, in general, is a symbol representative of the Great Celestial Dragon, we call "Draco." I leave the option up to you—the contestants—to choose either the serpent or the dragon for this task. Whatever works best, complimentary to the motifs you ultimately decide to use :)
Now, we come to the 3Koi Fish [with only] 1Head, reminiscent of a Triquetra. In the provided visual example, do you notice how each fish has only one eye? Observe how they are positioned, where—whichever fish you choose to focus on—it appears they have two eyes! LUV IT!! Whatever you do, please include this concept:)
[NOTE: If you will open up the attached photos, you will notice the depiction made by our Top Contestant, Towhildul. As of now (NOV18), I like a lot of what he has done best and so I am using it here as an example; more specifically, a.) the inverted position of the 3Koi Fish w/tail following Serpent's head b.) the [counter-clockwise] Serpent's "Don't Tread on Me" Vibe & its Scales c.) this very 3Koi Fish Motif used d.) how the Motifs all compliment one another—all in all—and, finally, e.) how celestial and electric his depiction of the FL&MC Design is! Oh! How Bright and Beautiful Like a Diamond-studded Piece of Gold Jewelry]
Anyway, super psyched to see everyone's version of this concept!
