Contest Brief

We are currently looking to re-brand our OPtions program with a new logo! Here's a basic overview of the OPtions program.

The OPtions program helps people all over the world over-come poverty. There are three branches of OPtions to help people based on their specific needs, OPtions: Youth, OPtions: Nova, and OPtions: International. In all three programs we give our participants employability skills, encourage entrepreneurship, and empower them to change their lives.

We work with aboriginal youth in the community of Paq’tnkek as part of the OPtions: Youth program, with women in the Truro women’s penitentiary as part of OPtions: Nova program. We have delivered 10 workshops to the women regarding entrepreneurship and financial literary. In the next year, we hope that the women will start a business within the institution. We hope to implement this in other penitentiaries across Canada.

OPtions: International works with women all over the world. We work one-on-one with a group of 20 women in Peru. In August 2014 we traveled to Peru to delivered four days of workshops. We have created a ‘train the trainer’ program made up of five modules accompanied with videos. Module one was distributed in 36 sites across 14 countries. We hope to have module two and three distributed to these sites by the end of this year.

We are looking for something that can easily be made to have subset icons (eg. Options: Nova, : International, etc). It doesn't need to relate to any specific sub-project, but should encompas the idea of entrepeneurship, and most importantly, OVERCOMING POVERTY (that's where the OP in options comes from)
