  Good start everyone. There are two partners in this business, so we will discuss the designs before rating. We like what we are seeing, but don't feel like they have to have the words "Tar River Timing". It is fine if they do, but that is not a requirement.
  
  This logo will go on many things, but the first thing it will get used on is a timing chip that looks like this: www.ipicosports.com/products/tags/custom-tag/

  We have not given a 4 or 5 star rating yet because nothing has jumped out as a clear leader. Anything with a star is still being considered. A few things:
  
  1) We like a logo that has the ability to stand on it's own with out text (i.e. without "Tar River Timing" you still recognize & know it) but could also be used with the words.
  
  2) Here are some other elements that are often tied to running
