The logo will consist of six letters:
L R P e n n
These six letters will be configured into a triangular shape, so that most of the line segments of each letter will need to be sharply angled (see attached sketch). The six letters should be legible. If the three corners of the triangle were rounded off, it might yield a more attractive design.
Two versions on the basis of color:
(1) black with a white background and
(2) green (R 147 G 196 B 125) with a white background
High resolution PNG files

The favicon will include three letters: L R P inside a circle.
Overall, the three letters should have a triangular shape; i.e., the R is larger than the L or P (see attached mock up). Parts of the letters (top and bottom of the R, top and right side of the P, and probably the left side of the L) should be contiguous with the border of the circle.
Font color: green (R 147 G 196 B 125)
Background color: light blue (R 239 G 239 B 239)
48 pixel diameter

Although the contest is scheduled to run for 30 days, I hope to select a winner within about a week.

I have posted a second sketch of the favicon that provides a somewhat closer approximation to the design I am looking for.

I have rejected about 95% of the entries and rated about fifteen of the best logos with 4 or 5 stars.

The favicons submitted have been uniformly disappointing. Therefore, I have redesigned it with a triangular shape in which the initials are composed of ten contiguous line segments (see image FAV3). Colors remain the same, green foreground (R 147 G 196 B 125) and light blue background (R 239 G 239 B 239).

If I don't receive a winning logo/favicon combo in the next couple of days, I will probably split the contest into separate logo ($45) and favicon ($30) contests.

A minor point: the e should be closed off so that it is clearly lowercase.
I am surprised that I have not seen any favicons with what I am looking for. The letters should be reshaped and transfigured so that they blend into the circumference of the circle. Most submissions have relied too heavily upon my amateurish sample.
I encourage you to send in revisions, especially the above 10 illustrators.

CH, you need to watch out, most entries are going to be AI generated, 99% AI, these scammers will literally post HUNDREDS of AI images each but you can spot them, watch out for them dropping all entries super fast. Keep in mind a solid design takes time to create, so multiple different entries in a row is impossible. The easiest way to spot them is typing their name into 'Search Entries' so you can see their pattern of spamming and how fast they are posting entries. ALWAYS SEARCH NAMES. I can not stress this enough, every single entry you like the look of, SEARCH NAME.
