We need a cute friendly koala for a children's brand. Please provide one image facing front. as well as a second image side on holding on to a tree/branch but looking towards the viewer. We need full exclusive copyright, ie ALL rights, and may use it in any of the following: logo, plush toy, animation, game, app, etc. So original images are a must, of course. It should be a little fat, with short arms/legs, and able to express it's emotions easily. Little or no obvious fur, should generally be smooth, not serrated.
After seeing the samples you guys have used we now must stress that the simple lines of VECTOR graphics are strongly prefered as they tend to look more professional (but a hd 2000x2000px png should be sent on completion also for front and side on images)
Can you make a koala character a child can LOVE?
We have not included examples because we need something 100% original. However, after entries that are too far from what we are after we have decided to give an example as hello kitty, cute, clean, simple. However Hello Kitty is a little too simple. Good examples:

Thanks to everyone who put forward entries, and in the end it was a fierce competition between 2-3 contenders, 1st place switching between some very good artists. We had to go for a mixture of cuteness PLUS expression and personality and have awarded it to one of the talented artists who applied.

It depends on the overall look. The highest ranking proposals usually have some minimal light and shadow. They should have some details but minimalistic is fine.

-Right click (with mouse) on entry in your contest
-then while menu is opened push "s" on keyboard.
This will search internet for picture you selected,
I've seen cases where picture from the internet, or free stock library won a contest ..

IMPORTANT: Keep it simple, keep it cute (you can't make this TOO cute). Fur/serration should be kept to an absolute minimum. Thanks. Both are acceptable, as they will be redrawn/animated by an artist at a later date into what ever posture is required. PS If you do deliver a vector or not, a HD PNG copy upon completion also needs to be included (e.g. 2000x2000px).

Actually, vector is prefered as that will keep in the style of other graphics. A better hand drawn graphic will beat a worse vector one though for the reasons above.
