i downloaded them from a free site.I didnt think it will be much of a problem as i have used it differently in the designs. but you can always buy them . and ofcouse you can search for other options to avoid the risk .

no image on the top left to the left of the logo, just leave it white. the houses just on the top right, using about half width.

The lighter example is nicer (first one) some suggestions 1. remove the image in the top left.. 2. is there a way for the houses on the header to just use the top right section? also wonder for the header, just use the house images without any colour, so just white outlines.
