i will recommend a modern polygonal background image to render out a classic corporate look, will use layered slider http://kreaturamedia.com/layerslider-responsive-wordpress-slider-plugin/ i already have that plugin with me and will add a video as an animated layer instead of adding a plain video frame which is now outdated , will make the header little busy by adding vector city illustrations , will use floating social icons and will apply a same layout style to whole website
