Contest Brief

We are looking for a logo for our horror movie podcast. My wife and I watch and discuss new and old horror movies. We are very light-hearted and make fun of one another a lot during the show. We do in depth analysis, but also share humorous stories and have fun. The title of the show is That Horror Podcast.

We will be using this logo primarily as our avatar on social media and stickers and postcards for promotion.

I do not have a concept set in stone but a few ideas/preferences:

I think an old style movie font would be good for the font of the text, That Horror Podcast.A possibility I really like would be a monster and the name of the podcast. I would envision this all black and white and very much would like to stay away from common monsters such as Frankenstein, vampires, etc. I would much prefer a gargoyle. blob style monster, or anything that isn't able to be tied directly to one movie . I would not expect it to be detailed or artistic, but simple and unique. I was considering using the title in the logo as THAT Horror Podcast or THAT! Horror Podcast to look like THAT! in the title was the title of a movie. Like THEM! the old ant movie.

Ideas for items to include or that would relay the podcast with images: headphones, microphone, Soundwave, monster, knife, chainsaw, insects gravestone, casket. I would also consider using one of the portions of the "graboids" from Tremors. I also like the idea of it appearing inside of a "frame" or designed like a family crest. The concept of making it look like a horror comic book is also a possibility. Please see attached files.

I am very open to any ideas that convey what our podcast is. I don't have color requirements, but am kind of partial to black and white and a circle logo, but want your ideas!
