Contest Brief

Our company is looking for 2 Hawaiian Style Print Designs that will be used for a tape product. The tape will be used for scrap booking purposes. The dimensions of the tape are 15mm x 10mm. Take a look at the image examples below and imagine your design being placed on a tape.

You may use 2-5 colors in your designs. We are looking for an authentic look for our local clients. I will be attaching pictures of some examples of Hawaiian styled designs. Items that are popular in Hawaii are turtles, Hawaiian flowers like hibiscus and plumeria, waves, hula girls, tikis, the shaka, and Hawaian words like Aloha, Ohana, Mahalo. Please do some "research" online and take a look at Hawaii websites to gain a grasp of our culture.

We will be awarding the first place winner with $100. We may also award 2nd, 3rd, and 4th place winners as we see fit.

If you have any questions about what is "Hawaiian" looking please feel free to ask. Attached are some pictures for your reference.

Also, please note that the more original your work is the better your chances are of winning. Please don't just use stock photography and crop it to the dimensions. We can do this ourselves. We will be checking for this as well. Please be original in your work.
