Résumé de concours
I'm hoping to add a trivia writer who can bring something new to the table. What does that mean? A point of view that may surprise Alex Trebek. Someone who can create engaging themes (create a pen name/character, use an alter ego) and create question sets that are diversified and entertaining. Topics can vary from gossip-news-history-travel-relationships-pop culture terms-music-movies-basically anything you find interesting (that is not too obscure).
Clues should derive from general knowledge/pop culture- sometimes double cluing helps if answer is borderline. Some can be academic but that can get a little dry by itself. The samples posted will give decent guidelines for format- clues should be no more than ~30 words. Answers no more than 25 characters.
If this seems like something that may interest you, please create a unique theme and 5-8 questions under that theme. There's really no way to interview for a role like this...hence this idea. If its a good fit, I'll follow up by Friday to set up a project.
This is for an adult audience. You have carte blanche with theming. (to avoid getting bogged down in wikipedia- probably best to work within your areas of interest) I've been asked to create 60 min of material p/week for the next couple months (local pub chain that is going to stream the video at happy hour). @~2.5 min p/batch, that's about 24 unique batches each week. Ideally a min of 6-8 (per week) or more could come from freelancer here.
This is an experiment so please feel free to ask any questions/offer ideas. Look forward to seeing what you come up with!
