Hey guys. My team and I are looking for a graphic designer/artist to draw some building, architecture and enviroment for a future online game. (mainly looking for buildings/architecture)
The refference year in which the game will take place is somewhere around 1600-1700, pirates age. There is no fantasy stuff, so it's as close as 1600s real life as possible. A source of inspiration i find very interesting is the new Assassin's Creed game, Black Flag. (too much awesomeness)

See the attachments and you'll get the idea of what i am looking for. There are some examples i really like. Also keep in mind the point of view, very important. (i need something close or like that in matter of details and "realness")

All in all, you can pretty much draw whatever you want, but it has to be something to fit the game, something that we can integrate in the game. (so keep in mind the game: pirates, ships, small towns by water, rivers, mountains, trees, rocks, huts, fishing huts, barrels and the list goes on. use real life as a refference)

THIS IS A "FEELER" contest, forget the price, there is much work to be done if the winner or other artists are interested. So if i'm happy with one or more designs, the opportunity of working on further elements is available. More money to come for those interested

  Texture I created like the ones in example of building u want like entire scene of multiple houses in single image or closeup of a single sample house from higher angle (because details in the wood textures can be seen only if we see closeup render view)

Have added a sample house with older lookin texture since i done this in maya we can take output even in 5k resolution without losing the quailty, waiting for ur reply

In all your reference the environment is seen from the upside u want the output to be same like viewing from height or it can be in any perspective

Hello, do i get it right - paintings should be done isometrical? Or would You also be interested in concept paintings (in normal perspective) ?

  Hei. They don't, because some objects will be bigger or smaller than others. Though the resolution should be as accurate as possible, even if the object might be scaled down a bit to suit the enviroment of the game. I will need some artworks too but not at this stage.
