Résumé du concours

Hello,

I am the owner of Big Apple Photo Tours. My website is coded entirely in Flash AS3. I am looking for a web developer/coder who is experienced in both Flash AS3 and HTML5. I need to fix my HTML5 Photo Gallery so that it works smoothly on all devices and is fully customizeable. In this contest, I have included all relevant files; the Flash AS3 files and the HTML5 files which needs fixing.

Honestly, the HTML5 code is almost finished! An experienced coder might be able to fix this problem in minutes. Check out the attached HTML5 files and see for yourself.

In this contest, I will also need an administration control panel so users can control the spacing, size, etc. and load up photos to the Gallery without computer code.

Here is the [url removed, login to view] HTML5 Gallery works but there are some errors that could not be worked out. The following is what needs to be fixed:

1) When the thumbnail photos are clicked on and enlarged, there is a curvature issue which could not be straightened out.

2) The Gallery does not work smoothly on touch devices such as the iPhone and iPad.

INCLUDED HERE ARE ALL THE NECESSARY FILES: Flash AS3, HTML5, and Admin Control Panel. You can get started right away!

To view the Flash verion of the Gallery that needs conversion, click on the "Gallery" on top of the menu bar at: http://bigapplephototours.com.

This is not a static HTML5 conversion. I need to be able to control all aspects of the Gallery dynamically through an admin control panel. These are the areas of the Gallery that must be able to be customized dynamically:

-Layout Size
-Column Number, Height, and Width
-Margins
-Zooming Duration and Speed
-Media Size
-Inclusion of Random Media Loading Option
-Background Color

The HTML5 Gallery also needs to be scaleable for all devices including iPads and iPhones.

The prize will be made to the first coder who completes the project and the source code sent to and approved by my primary web developer.

A Skype account will be required so that we can chat about this project in order to clarify the details.

I am also looking to hire someone who can help me with website building. This contest will prove your skills and perhaps can lead to a working relationship for future projects.

Thank you for reading about my project! I hope to hear from you.

Are there any restrictions on using 3rd party javascript libraries (MIT or similar license, of course)? Also, I don't see any code in the sample zip for the admin control panel, is this correct? Can you be more specific on the 'curvature issue' that you mention? Finally, can you be more specific on the 'Random Media Loading' feature you request? Thanks.

Sorry for taking so long to get back to you. No, there are no restrictions about using 3rd party libraries. There is also no code for the admin control panel. I included the Bannerzest files so you could see an example of an admin control panel. The curvature is most noticeable when you click on a thumbnails at a far corner. When zooming to the center, it curves instead of zooming straight to the center. A thumbnail in the center also does not zoom up to full size without the curvature effecting it. I hope this helps. ; )
