Contest Brief

I am looking to find a manufacturer that can design and produce a specific type of shrink wrapping / plastic covering for clothing items at competitive prices. Manufacturers that I have received samples from in China are able to spin the item of clothing (cotton + elastine) into a small disc package and shrink wrap the item to maintain the small size of the product. I would like the small size of the item maintained however would like the addition of a simple mechanism allowing the user to open the package without having to use their nails etc. The opening mechanism should be built into items wrapping for easy, quick and consistent opening.

I already have the samples of the clothing designed and the manufacturer will be provided with samples in order to develop the prototype. The manufacturer should also be able to produce clothing to a design that I can provide as I do not wish to deal with multiple suppliers.

What I require:

1) Pictures of the shrink wrapped disks containing clothing
2) Pictures showing how the packaging is to be opened - easy pull or similar
3) Details of cost per item and minimum production runs, and lead times - including indicative cost of a plain white (cotton/elastine) t-shirt to be used in the process
4) Detail of a contact at the factory to commence production discussions
