Contest Brief
Draw 4 teenagers (age 12 years old).
Each teenager represents the type of education he/she will follow in grade school.
Each teenager will be placed separately on a poster.
These locations are currently marked with a blue circkel on the poster (see attachment).
Teenager 1:

A verry smart person.
He/she does not mind theoretical courses and a lot of homework.
He/she wants to keep all options for the future open.
Almost all these persons go to university when they graduate grade school.
Teenager 2
----------
A verry creative/artistic person.
He/she is a creative doer or an artistic thinker.
He/she wants to combine his/her artistic talents with some general courses.
The majority of these persons go to university when they graduate grade school.
Teenager 3
----------
He/she wants to combine practical courses with some theoretical courses.
Going to university or start working after graduating grade school, everything is possible.
Half of these persons will go to university after graduating grade school.
Teenager 4
----------
He/she loves working with his/her hands and wants to learn by practical courses.
The majority of these persons will go to work after they graduate grade school.
We want an illustration of a teenager to represent as many 'type of teenagers' as possible.
We're not looking for stereotypes such as a nerd for someone who is smart and likes to study.

"full body or just a face and neck" That is up to you. The tricky part of this contest I guess is to be able to express the subtile differences in description of the characters. If you can express those differences in a face then that is great. If you rather use a full body that is ok too. But you have to choose either one.

Hello there! I love your contest, and I want to be part of it. I have a question: do you only accept illustration done in Illustrator? I'm very good at hand drawn and digital illustration, and the combination of digital and traditional art looks great, I think! :) Maybe the Illustrator illustration are not so much "alive" as digital ones. If you can send me a message, I can send you my style examples, because I don't know how to send you otherwise? Thanks a lot for your answers.

- 2,65cm x 2,65cm (1,047 inch x 1,047 inch) at 300 dpi

Thank you all for you feedback.
Let me try to clarify what is most important to us.
For the illustrations any style will do.
I only want one consistent style and it should fit the content and budget.
I know that for 50€ I can't expect the world. I'll get what I pay for.
If this budget only allows quick and dirty work, then I will be satisfied with a quick and dirty style.
If in doubt that I won't select you because of your style, send me a "style example".
A 50% bonus if I'm satisfied with the result is no problem.

Because the illustrations will represent teenagers a realistic style will be more suitable. Cartoon style will be disliked by the teenagers themselves as they don't see themselves as a child any more.
The characters have to represent European teenagers.
Social context is more generic.
The illustrations need to suit the poster design as they will be integrated on the poster.- 11 years ago

must seem realistic or illustrative? carttoon or more human? inserted in which social context? European, Asian, multiethnic? Poster size ...? Will be included in the flyer?
