Contest Brief

You can find the blueprint of my loft which is 120m2 plus a terras outside which is 14m2. This loft will be for me and my girlfriend.

The main materials for the building itself will be concrete, glass and wood. I will have large windows from the floor to the ceiling on the backside and smaller windows at the front (you can see which side is the back and the front on the outside pictures and from the 3d model annex). The outside walls will have have a white plaster layer. The terras and the ledge right behind the large windows will be in wood. The blueprint contains the outer walls and the inner support walls. The support walls cannot be changed. The entrance is fixed. the dashed lines indicate the edge of the horizontal ceiling where the roof starts (to see how the roof looks like check the outside pictures). the ceiling will be at 2.50m and the peek of the roof will be around 3m.

We need a kitchen, storage room (also used for washing machine etc.), 1 bedroom, bathroom, dressing, living room, study/work desk.
You can find a picture of the blueprint and a sketch up file with a 3d drawing annex. I also added some pictures of the outside of the building.

You get carte blanche for making arrangements, you can add walls but not remove the existing walls. You can advise on materials and colors for the floor, walls, furniture, kitchen, ....You can illustrate your creations in any way you like 3d or 2d drawing. I am indifferent to 2D and 3D models, it's the ideas that matter! I created this contest in order to get some inspiration so please inspire me and think out of the box!

Hello, I added a storage room to the requirements. Apologies if you are already were wroking on a design! To make things more clear, this will be for me and my girlffriend (we are not expecting any children so no children bedrooms, just one bedroom for the two of us is enough :))

Yes sure! 3d isn't even a requirement as long as you can provide a fresh look! I am indifferent between 2d and 3d, as long as it gives me inspiriational ideas
