We need your skills to create an awesome ICON.

The game name is FlickIT with Friends. But that does not have to be in the icon. These words will appear under the icon in both the google app store and the apple app store.

FlickIT with Friends is the modern evolution of the football-inspired game which has been played on tables far and wide for decades. Where once tightly-folded paper footballs were used, now players can enjoy games of FlickIT on their desktop, laptop, tablet, or phone. Time marches on, but with a game like FlickIT with Friends, classic entertainment is right at hand.

Final work must be 2048 by 2048 and include all layers and fonts used.
Work may be done in either Photoshop or Illustrator.

I really like the way this icon was looking BUT I want original art. Please do not use the hand from Pond5.com. But I would love to see some original work that is similar to this. Try and think about how the football is flicked or kicked in real life. Make the hand and football large, in regard to the icon.

  Nik, I like the concept. But the red gets lost when the icon is small. So I don't care much for the name. If you want to show me a small icon then show it to me as it would appear on a phone or tablet. The current background does nothing for me. Actually I would like to see both a larger version on white background (the way it appears on google plus and the apple app store.) And I would like to see small version of how it appears with other standard icons on a smart phone. I am looking for something that is creative and clean.

I want an icon that looks really good at high resolution, but that is not so busy that fails to continue to looks good when it 57 by 57 pixels. This icon has to work in a lot of places.
