Contest Brief

We are developing a website called www.importguide.no that needs a logo.
The website will promote international online stores to consumers in Norway.

The site will also work as a guide with shopping tips, saving tips and tips about how you can get your goods shipped to Norway etc, and we want to invite the users to interact with the site through comments and rating of online stores.

The logo should reflect that we promote international online stores.
The logo should be designed so it (or part of it) can be used as an app icon.
The font used in the logo text should be a free web font and preferably a font you can find in this article:
http://www.smashingmagazine.com/2014/03/12/taking-a-second-look-at-free-fonts/ .
The logo text should not contain website domain (.no)

Note: The colours that are present on www.importguide.no now is just a demo template and the logo does not need to be adapted to this colour

well, the packages logo which i see above, i think the idea is okay, but it represents only a delivery and not the full word import. thats why i used the arrow instead.

and as discussed, i will change/revise all you want, but i strongly recomming the symbol which i used , and so far no one came up with my thought and with a arrow, so if someone else submitted a entry with upcomming arrow, it will be declared as copied from my entry.. Well, i find this arrow to be the perfect logo for you, and as you said, i can change the font also remove the .no for you , but only if you find this logo the perfect one for you... also , i will give you colors to choose from :)

Hello, as asked in the personal message, arrow indicates the situation of incomming, as import is related to incomming product/feature/stability,, arrow felt me the best icon to put on... so according to me, arrow gives a right impact on importers guide
