I am looking for a logo design and a business card layout for it. It will be for a personal blog about my travels and digital art advice.

My personal website is about my art, my travels, recommendations and basically snippets about me. I plan to be very active with my website after summer.

I attached ideas for inspiration.

Colored versions are find to submit as long as I can throw them into Photoshop to visualize what it would look like in black and white.

I'd love to see ideas submitted by others and feel free to use them in your portfolios.

ABOUT THE BUSINESS CARD
I would like to see variations - since I am a traveler, I'd love to see the back of the card be an open space underneath my logo for "notes" to give to someone.

Look at art I've posted, I have images of myself on the website, etc. Lots of ideas are out there, don't limit yourself to what you see here :) You could even add part of the definition somewhere: sonder

I tend to like clean thoughtful designs - something that's not too crazy. I do like color for card but I don't want to go over the top. I'd like the card design to also look good in plain black and white. Sometimes minimalist designs catch my eye as well. Please keep the logo in mind while doing the design.

I am a person who loves unique work that can also look professional and is easy to identify. I'd like to thank you all for your time for reading this and I hope to see some fantastic entries! Don't forget to have fun with it and make something that you'll be proud of because as an artist, I know it's great when I make something and I am able to also throw it into my portfolio for future use.

*Your logo will be used in a variety of ways besides the business card. It will also be used on brochures, stickers, and tshirts.

Hello everybody, after going back and forth between entries, I have chosen a winner.
#120 was the winner due to the look of the card- it matches my personality and what I'm going for the the website. It's about my own travels and my art so this design speaks well to me. The different logo variations given by this designer were also beautiful and thought out really well. She had read my feedback and took it all nicely. We communicated well I was pulled to this design the most.

I appreciate the effort and the designs you all have submitted. I hope it was a fun challenge and although your entry may not have won, please consider putting it into your portfolio. I plan on using this site to make cards.
They allow for a person to choose multiple designs - in other words, I can attach my art to drawings.
I'd recommend making a strong logo and have a good structure on where my social IDs are.

Some of my IDs are mzzazn, I noticed no one tried to have the twitter ID and deviantART ID right next to each other and then have mzzazn following. That's an idea too.

Hi everyone. Morning.
I have left feedback for everyone and started to weed through the current submissions to show what I really like. There's still over a week left and I will be gone the next few days (maybe I can still come on) so please feel free to submit tons of different ideas.   I do like the design and how clean it is - the logo itself. While the card design looks nice, it doesn't incorporate an "artsy" look to it. It also lacks an area to write notes. I do like how the card overall looks, there are simply other cards designs submitted that I like more. Once again, the logo in itself is very strong though.

The quote has changed and I prefer a skype icon instead of a "telephone" icon if possible. In addition I uploaded a deviantART logo - but I am still okay with seeing Artist ID or ID mzzazn if it looks better with the design.

Hey guys. I rated all the new ones.

A few ideas for inspirations:
You guys could do a "drawing" approach, meaning the things that appear on the card look like they are drawn in a sketch book - you could draw a drawing of a paper plane, buses, etc that look like they've been sketched in like my host (www.travelary.com's sample for their book has sketches)

You could do a zoomed in crop off of the world and put information on there some how.

You could make a travel tag for a bag.

If you're doing a design, please note I am a backpacker when I travel not a business traveler.

You could create an artistic design showing off a sketch book, pencils, etc.

The possibilities are endless!! Please google the terms I posted on the brief it may supply you with ideas!

  Hello. I do not plan on paying $30 USD to seal this contest. I will work through the submissions I have now - I am giving feedback according to what I have. Everyone has the opportunity to feed off of this feedback or step out and try their own design - entirely up to them. What appeals to me has been stated in public on the designs for a reason. This is how I chose to hold this contest. If it does not appear to you, I will understand if you do not want to participate. :)

Another update - this following Thursday-Monday I will be gone traveling. I will try to see submission while on the road if I can - however I might not be able to write long replies back. I hope this will encourage others to make new designs or plan something that incorporates details from a few others as well as a few of their own to try to catch my eye. Best of luck everyone!
