Résumé de concours
We are in need of 10 different banners to use on our website, to advertise our product ranges and special deals. These banners should all be the same dimensions, and will be used side by side on most pages of our website, to help users navigate to various areas of interest.
Please note that our website sells adult/intimate toys, so you must be 18+ and comfortable working with images of adult products.
Most banners will feature a heading, a quick tagline, and a button with a call-to-action.
Example content for these banners includes:
- DEALS OF THE WEEK
Huge Discounts on our Best Sellers
[Browse our deals]
- COUPLES TOYS
Spice up your nightlife with these naughty knickknacks
[Shop Couples Toys]
I have attached a sample of what our existing banners look like - your banners can work in with these, or can be a new design entirely.
(Please note - we're not entirely happy with the design of the 'Spin to Win' banner, as the background feels a little dated. This is one of the 10 that will be updated)
Because we don't want you all to be wasting your time, if you could please submit designs for the above two example contents, and we will work with the winner to develop the additional 8 designs based off the first two.
We would like all designs to follow a similar style, so that they look good next to each other on the page (same fonts and similar layouts) but each of the 10 needs to have a distinct colour palette, and these palettes need to complement each other, and the design of our website.
I have attached a screenshot from our website, with indication of where these banners will be used.
Please design the banners at 2300px wide by 1300px high.
The font we have used on our example banners is FoundrySans, and the font used on our website is Lato - you may choose to use these or another.
I'm a big fan of brightly coloured but classy/subtle gradients to be used at the backgrounds - please see the gradient used across the top of our website as an example.
Ideally, when we use these banners next to each other, they will have a brightly multi-coloured, almost Rainbow look, therefore each banner should use a distinctly different colour gradient (one green, one yellow, one pink, one orange, one blue, one red, etc, etc)
The feel we are going for is youthful, vibrant and colourful, while retaining a 'classy' feel. We are targeting 'young professionals' in the 20 - 40 age bracket. I know that our "Spin to Win" example doesn't quite fit with this (yet) and this will be redesigned as one of the 10.
All banners should feature the written text, an image, and a button.
I have attached here:
- 2 example banners, feel free to go for an entirely new design though
- a screenshot of our website, showing where the banners will go (3x per page)
- some product images you may want to use in designing the banners
Our budget is on the lower end of the spectrum as these banners aren't particularly complex, and will all be similar, with only a different colour palette.
If you have any questions, please don't hesitate to ask.
Thanks very much for your time!
