Contest Brief

We provide a cloud distribution platform similar to a content distribution network but for integration of enterprise SaaS and real-time mission critical proprietary applications for large global companies. Our platform provides accelerated application performance across 180 markets in 41 countries with the ability to host applications and/or private cloud infrastructure at the edge. I have attached a list of the markets along with the type of facility in each market, either a Regional Cloud Hub, Edge Platform, or Financial Exchange, some markets have multiple facilities, duplicates can be ignored. We need a global map that does a great job of illustrating the broad reach of this platform, with different symbology for each facility type. Its possible to break this into several maps, for example a global map with regional blowups. We do NOT want lines interconnecting the sites as in some of the examples. I have attached the list of our sites along with some example maps that we thought were interesting -- but we'd like to see something more creative. We will need the map(s) in .jpg format and an original digital file in .ai format.

Also attached are CFN Services logo .eps, CFN Services Color Palatte, a sample map for another one of our products, and a sample of a map with regional blowups. Our website for additional reference is www.cfnservices.com

Here is an example of a high tech base map concept we liked: http://www.designtopx.com/archives/2010/2/high-tech-ui-world-map-image/demo/ and here is a different view on regional blow up, not necessarily our favorite but shows the concept.

Hi, could you specify exactly the states for Springfield, Cambridge, Albany and Columbia. There are multiple choices after geocoding...

Hello. I recently created an interactive map using OpenLayers2.0. If you like how it looks, I could do a similar map for you. The link to the map is: http://hartainteractiva.oltenia-biking.ro/ If you have questions about the map, please feel free to ask.
