Résumé de concours
To design a sign that can be cut out of two types of wood. In design terms that is max three colours (2 wood and empty spaces).
The sign is made up of the words 'Down To The Wood' and incorporating trees.
The photograph attached is simply to show the concept, I would prefer the trees and words to be more intertwined.
The words can be in a line, staggered, or in two lines
The other image shows the dimensions and two holes for hanging. The rectangle is a maximum size, but I don't want straight edges, or even edges like the photo, I want the words and trees to hang together with no background.
The trees are to be based on broadleaf trees such as Ash, Oak, Beech or Elm. Not palm trees or fir or pine trees
I can accept submissions in any format, even hand-drawn as I will be printing it out, gluing it so some wood, then simply cutting it out.
In contests, I am always asked for feedback, I am happy to give it, but that does not mean I like your design best. (I have had cross people before accusing me of wasting their time)
Clip-art will be ignored
