That won! Your kidding me right?
Yet another contest that ends with disappointment. The design is nothing that they said they wanted in the Contest Brief.
There are far too many of these type of contests where they pick something totally different then they said they wanted.
I am removing all my entries. Don't keep your hard work up there for them to just take and use later.

  I know... I feel sorry for the designers who actually spent a lot of time on making designs per the contest brief. Even after he changed the brief half way through the contest and still did not choose a design even close to that. There are some really good designs out there. Just another SHAM of a contest. Designers really need to report contests like this. If enough people report them and threaten to leave the site due to them. Freelancer will have to action and make the contest holders responsible. This happens way too much on this site and makes designers go to other free lance sites.

HELLO... I updated the contest giving TWO OPTIONS in regards to artistic direction. The 1st still being 1920's inspired and the 2nd being inspired by the Museum of Modern Art.

++Please remember all submissions MUST have 1) A LOGO w/ NO SHOE in logo 2) A sketch of shoe *NOT Illustrator

The shoe sketch is meant for the front page where we can make it look simple, no colors of actual shoes...

First off all, that are some really nice shoes. I would like to try to design logo for your project, but I do not understand why do you need shoe sketch for? You need me to design new version of the shoe or just want to have one of your shoes sketched? Also, is it problem if I work in Illustrator?

  Hi! The Sketch is a literal interpretation of the existing shoe---The reason? We are using the sketch on our website as the image of the shoe, then customers, can custom pick their color and laces. It's meant to be a base for the customer to "build their own shoe"...I would like to mention that there is an error on this contest and the prize is $150. Freelancer was supposed to make the change but it has not happened yet. I apologize for the inconvenience and understand if you are not interested. We hope that you are! ~Briar Odes LA

Any changes you may like can be done to the designs.
Shoe colors can be made darker as well to reflect your shoe line.

Hi Everyone: As you may have seen, we have our own shoe! We do not want other shoes on our design. THE CONTEST SPECIFICALLY SAYS TO SKETCH OUR SHOE, all fonts should be reminiscent of the past. I also am looking for the logo to be simple in design like that of the logos included in the PDF, circular, like a stamp or an old sticker. PLEASE DO NOT SUBMIT OTHER SHOES OR TRENDY COLROS---REFER TO INSPIRATION SHEET. THanks
