I would like a logo for my stress and trauma therapy business, for use on leaflets, business cards and on the website pages and banner heading – the business name is currently Sulas Therapies, but will be changing to Stress and Trauma Help - the name does not need to be part of the logo, and it may be better if it isn't. I'll repeat that: The name does not need to be part of the logo, and it MAY BE BETTER IF IT ISN'T :)

The therapies offered are: Somatic Experiencing, EFT and (a smaller part of the business) Myofascial Release - a type of massage. I also offer accredited training in EFT, but that will be moving to a separate website. The aim of the therapies is to gently and safely help people overcome the mental, emotional and physiological impact of past events to live with greater calm, ease and engagement in the present. Another therapist has a logo of a dandelion head with the seeds gently blowing from it, which is excellent, but she has it, so I can't!

Either monochrome or multicolour are fine, and it would be great if the logo is relatively simple, so it can be discernible at a pretty small size. The current logo is a bit 'hippyish', and I would like something more refined and professional, that in some way expresses a part or the whole of the idea of gentle release from suffering, followed by revival. I am particularly interested in images that are not leaf-based, or generic abstract pretty patterns ;)

Also, I am going to consult with some other people for their opinions on the entries, so it may not necessarily be that in the end I choose the one I have given the most stars to - sad to see eugentita's 3-star entries withdrawn, for example.

Hello everyone, and thanks for all your submissions. Before I pick a winner, I would appreciate your assurance that your entry is in no way copied from anywhere else. I was taking a bus up my street, and saw entry #1, the exact same image, with different colours, on a poster for my local pizza restaurant. I assume that I have recourse to submit a complaint to freelancer.co.uk if I find that I have paid for a logo which is not in fact original, and I will certainly do so. May I suggest that if your logo is copied, you withdraw it now. I am assuming that everyone else has submitted original work, so please do not take offence, I was just shocked to find someone had submitted something copied from elsewhere, and wanted to be clear about this! Thank you.
