  As for the overall design, would like to see some more wordmark/logotype entries, but that's not to say that's what I'll go for... please continue to do graphic icon ones. The graphic/icon approach is nice, but it would be good to see a purely text based treatment. I may still go for an icon style one though! As for the content/style of the graphics, I think anything that's overtly 'film making' is out. Too much of a cliché, like using a generic shutter image for a photography logo, but there have been some entries where the icon is related to film but it's less 'in your face'.

  For colors, I'm still undecided, but it needs to be either multicoloured or have just one or two main colours, maybe using slightly different variations of the same colour. No 'pure' colours if you know what I mean... so if you're going for blue, then definitely don't make it #0000FF. The top four entries have got the right idea. A bit later in the week I'll provide individual feedback to my favourite entries.

  Thanks for all your entries. After seeing the designs so far, here's what I'm feeling... I think the name should be all capitals or no capitals, so STENCIL MEDIA or stencil media. All fonts should be sans-serif, no handwritten fonts, no stencil fonts, nothing too tall and narrow, nothing italic and nothing too thin... something with a little bit of weight to it. Something along the lines of Century Gothic, Ariel Black, Helvetica, Myriad Pro. Doesn't need to be one of those, but just that kind of style.
