We have a vision for a logo and are looking for someone to create a design for us. Our company does research in several different domains, and we would like each of these represented in the design. Below is a description of how we envision the logo design:

Four squares (possibly diamonds depending on the orientation) with an image contained within each square, representing the domains described below:
1. Self-report survey data. Possible images: a check mark (representing self-report questionnaires)
2. Physiological data. Possible images: a heart rate symbol, heart rate symbol on top of the shape of a heart
3. Physical activity monitoring. Possible images: a person running, shoes, feet
4. Environmental sensors. Possible images: a GPS symbol on a globe or map, house/house and tree scene to represent environmental sensors
An alternative for the Environmental Sensors category is to somehow represent that we conduct research at multiple “levels” (society, community, neighborhood, family, individual person). Finding some representation of this idea – possibly concentric circles or overlapping circles in a Venn diagram – could also be a possibility for the fourth domain, instead of the environmental sensors.

For all of the above domains, we are open to other images that represent the domain. We could see the four squares either being arranged in a larger square, a larger diamond, or in a line. We would like each square and/or image to be a different color. Possible color options are: red, blue, purple, green, orange. We are open to what aspects of the square/image are colored vs. white (outlined vs. solid square, colored vs. white image, etc.)

The logo should contain the icon image described above, which we would like to appear with our program acronym and full name. Our program uses the acronym DREAM, which stands for Dynamic Real-time Ecological Ambulatory Methodologies. Both the acronym and name should be included in the logo design.

We would also be interested in seeing four smaller variations of this larger design made. These would be the letter D with one of the four images inside of it (for example, D with heart rate symbol inside, person running, etc.) in the color that corresponds to the overall logo. We would be using these as icons on a website, computer, or smartphone.

Online (website, online advertising, computer presentations)
Mobile (app icon logo on smartphone, websites viewed on smartphone)
Print (letterheads, business cards, t-shirts, etc.)
