I am starting a new company (actually rebranding an old one, but want it to be completely fresh). We will be doing website design (in WordPress), SEO, social media management, and other types of Internet Marketing for clients.

We need to have a new logo designed that has a "Web 2.0" look. I want it to be crisp and clean (no shading), as I want it to be easy to read and easy to transfer to embroidered shirts, etc. I am looking for a simple, but vibrant design. I recently got a logo created for another entity and the designer hit it spot on (see attached). I like this logo because it is simple (crisp, clean and only 2 color variations).

The company is called 4Spot Marketing LLC (we can go with 4Spot Marketing). I named the company due to the name being catchy and simple to remember (also having "4" at the beginning is good for alphabetized listings). However, my PR guy said that I needed to have a 'story' behind the name, so my story is, "A 4-spot is a slang term for scoring 4 runs in an inning of baseball, or for hitting a grand slam (4 runs). My son's first home run in his baseball career was a '4-spot'". I hestitate listing this, because I want the company to stand out on it's own (I don't want a really "baseball heavy" design), but, if the 4 spots were arranged in a diamond shape or something, that may be beneficial (this is NOT a major consideration -- just a mention so that you can get some idea of where my brain is on this).

I like orange (like the attached), vibrant blues (in the #000099 range), and vibrant/rich greens (in the #006600 range). I would consider a vibrant red, in outside cases, but would like to stay away fro primary colors (outside of vibrant blue).

I will need this in PSD format with the ability to save as a PNG with a transparent background.

I truly plan on picking someone from this contest, but didn't want to make it 'guaranteed' because I've had situations before where I posted and just didn't get something that I loved, but was forced to finish the project.

After I have the logo I will need some other items designed, so hopefully a great logo design will yield more work.
