We need help with logo design for a retirement facility.

The design must be unique and vibrant. You can propose colors that you think fit. We will run final logo through copyright check before we pay for it, so make sure content is truly unique:

Also, instead of designing a template from scratch, you can propose one from the http://themeforest.net/ website. It should match your logo design. It also must be for WordPress, be responsive, have good ratings and support. If you win the contest, you will be required to purchase the template for us. This may be cheaper for you instead of designing one from scratch.

Yes, I like template functionality, but not the look. The slider is way too big. I more like proportions in the website example #1.
You are right, I provided several different example to show that we look for something in the middle. I like first two examples, but the colors are a bit overpowering (after all, it is a retirement facility and the template cannot be so intense). Again, we are looking for something in between vibrant and flat.
Re: Logos, these are a challenge. The logo must be vibrant, incorporate figures of people, incorporate symbols of christianity, but at the same time it cannot be old, bent out of shape people or a huge cross. Again, we need a fine balance that conveys vigor, positivity and spiritual strength.

I assume that you like the way the template looks and functions, or you would not have bought it. Is this correct?

Each example website you provided are completely different styles from the next.

There are only a few styles that are similar: Clean & Flat UI, Bright & Vibrant, and Minimalistic. - Is this what you are looking for?
