I need a logo created for Rave New Media.

What Rave does: We provide fully managed inbound marketing services to businesses and marketing agencies. The concept of our company is to provide a highly cost-effective turnkey inbound marketing solution to businesses and marketing agencies so they don't have to internally staff up to provide these critical skills. Rave New Media strives to create gravity towards our customers' brands in order to harness the power of inbound, permission based marketing.

I am not a graphics expert, but I will convey what I am looking for. Feel free to send me a note if you have any questions.

What I would like in the design:
1) Clean, crisp design - like the way Apple products are designed - minimalist, beautiful, functional.
2) Logo should look good on white background
3) Need logo to have transparent background
4) Need logo format source (jpeg, vector, xcf). I use Gimp so if you can provide an XCF format that would be wonderful.
5) Logo should cleanly size as needed - no jagged edges please.
6) I am after crisp, clean. Think creative professional. Not into goofy fonts.
7) Not looking for "me too" designs.

Use your imagination regarding designs, colors, fonts, imagery. Sometimes, less is more like in poetry. You can convey a powerful idea in a small footprint!

I am looking forward to working with you! As we will be launching our firm very soon, we will have tons more work for you. So, keep in mind that the logo you do for us is a showcase of your work and a magnet to a LOT more work!

Folks, thanks again for the awesome submissions.
I have tried to rate logos to give you all an idea what appeals to me. When I saw something I especially liked, I flagged it with a "like."

I especially have seen some people work with the letters "R" and "RNM" creatively. I like this because it will provide me with the opportunity to use the letters in small icon blocks as you find on twitter profiles. Here are a few submissions that I felts I could possibly use the letter logo portion for such purposes: 14, 25, 15, 52, 56.

56, 50, 11 are also appealing due to their use of blocking and coloring.

Thanks for the submissions so far, I appreciate the effort!

I ran the submissions by someone and their comment to me was "there is so much that can be done with a name like Rave!" They looked at the logos and while they liked the look of some, they asked me "now, what is it your company does?" That was a very good question on their part. So I was wondering if there was a clever way to do this with the logo.

Knowing that our company's goal is to help our customers attract raving fans for what they do, is there some creative way to represent this in a logo that clever, memorable - something that can become a powerful brand image for us and stand out - without falling into the "white noise" look and feel.

It's getting late, but I wanted to at least get this brain dump back out to you guys in my appreciation for the work you have done so far.

  Look at big brands apple can you tell by their logo what the company does? How about Coca Cola does logo tells you they sell drinks or Nike.... a Logo does not have to really tell what your company does Sir. Minimalist logos are the ones out there easy to remember.. O'reilly logo does it tell you it sells car parts? In this case I created modern logo to reflect modern technology Media....Both logos I present can stand alone without the wording.
