Contest Brief

Mediterranean Camps is an organization that will be offering summer camps for middle and high school students (ages 11-18) in Spain, Italy, France and other parts of the Mediterranean region. The logo should read "Mediterranean Camps" and reflect the colors of the Mediterranean region --- blues for water, reds/oranges/yellows for sunshine. Would prefer that the logo not be too "fun" looking -- a lot of summer camp logos use bubble letters, goofy fonts, etc., but I want this to be a more serious logo as it will be a large company doing a variety of types of work across the region. Key attributes for the company will be adventure, exploration, learning, and culture.

Hello all -- thank you for the interesting entries for this logo contest. I wanted to provide some general points of clarification. While some our activities will fall into the classic "camp model," there are also other things that will be in classrooms, in cities, and other places. So, there is not a link to mountains or to tents ------ so the logo should not include either mountains or tents as a motif. The sun, the sky, the water -- these are all great things!
