We've just completed a contest to name our business. Now we need a logo designed for it.

About the Company :
Metrisport is a startup business specializing in athlete monitoring and coaching solutions.

The business will make products that :
- Provide useful metrics to elite athletes and coaches
- Uses science and technology to improve performance
- Use sensors to measure athlete performance
- Provide for improved performance, health and well-being
- Assist rehabilitation
- Are accurate
- Are well designed
- Are high quality

Requirements :
- A suitable logo design
- A set of graphic files in suitable sizes and formats for :
- The website logo's (png, transparent)
- An email footer logo
- A microsoft word document header logo
- Social Media - linkedin (100x60 and >646x220) facebook sizes.
- An original design file for future development.

We have the website up, with a placeholder logo in the meantime. www.metrisport.com
Note that the new logo does not have to look anything like this present placeholder...

Greetings brenhale,
Are the colors that are being used for the metrisport.com site the same colors you want the branding to be?
Or are they possibly going to change if the logo is different colors then the current site?
Also on your site, there is a iPad with some data. Are those colors going to be used for all your data products?
Is the focus swimming only, or all sports?

You shared in the briefing info "About the Company" and "The business will make products that" Is there more about the company though? I have a couple other questions if you are open to answering them with only 1 day left:

What is the purpose of this company, why even bother doing it, what is the passion that is pushing it?
What is the vision of this company, what results are you hoping for to see in people? To see in the company?
How is your passion going to practically achieve your vision, what is your mission of how you are going to do this?
What is your target audience?

One day to go everyone. There are 3 entries with 4 stars, and they all are reasonably simple, and have clearly visible text with good colour selection. There are also quite a few 3 star entries that could do well with some polishing.
At this stage I don't think any of them will be our actual logo in their present form, so we might recruit the most promising designer to continue working on the logo afterwards. There is still opportunity for someone to take the cake! :)

Hi All,

Note that I have extended this contest another 5 days as a result of doubling the prize money, and this has also added even more to the reward. So we're at $110 now.

As a summary of the results so far, there are 29 entries, I have tentatively given two of them 4-stars and six of them 3-stars. There are no 5-star entries as yet...

Hi everyone, thanks for your entries so far. As general feedback, some of the entries are just too complicated. My favourite at present is quite a simple design.
