Contest Brief

To give you some ideas about the possible logo designs I will tell you about our company. We are a family owned business. Our company, "Raster Office" supplies businesses with paper, office supplies, computer accessories. One of the new things we are doing is business systems. Example would be a centralized employee time, attendance & access control using RFID cards. Another field is Document Management System where documentation is scanned and processed so that it can be accessed using computers (paper free office), while the original documents in paper form are archived in special storage spaces.

These are the things we do. You need to unify them with one logo idea. Our current company logo is outdated and we need some fresh ideas. Work should be submitted in CMYK, RGB, and Monotone (for engravings) in Adobe Illustrator format and PDF/VT (or PDF/X-4).

Please check entry #97 . Its Icon based logo. Material Design. Simple and Elegant. Should print well on most surfaces because its bold and large. Being Icon heavy, it shall have excellent recall value. Also the simplicity allows you to use it in both Print and Digital mediums with equal effects.

I noticed that many are putting much emphasis on letter permutations. I am leaning towards the designs that can also work without "Raster Office" written underneath. You don't have to read "Toyota" to recognize the Toyota logo, it works by itself.
