Contest Brief

Currently, the logo is very boring and basic. (see attached file small_main.png)
I want something basic yet sleek, professional and unique.

The website site will encompass the following features when it is done:
- job search engine for technicians
- headhunting services and freelance jobs
- resources and training
- the ability to submit your resume and have it worked on
etc.

The focal points are that the site is geared towards British Columbia (Canada) and for technicians (TECHS) who deal with computers/networking and various information technology tasks.

Here are examples of logos I like.

Please submit something original. I like the type of blue that is being used in the attached logo but I'm flexible.

Perhaps someone has the ability to maintain the current BCTECHS font and colors but create a graphic to the left of it that uses the same color, yet with a three dimensional twist to it.

I like the concept but would prefer something with more width than height. When cropping the logo I would like to have a 3:1 ratio for width to height. Does this make sense?
