Contest Brief

I need a logo to promote my personal brand. My name is Eric Nisall, and I'm going to be branding things for my website, which is simply EricNisall.com.

What I want is relatively simple. I don't want any of those swooshes, or weird 3d effects as those will be immediately eliminated. I am only going to use the logo online, so any entries shown on business cards or "textured effects" will also be eliminated.

The first thing that popped into my head when thinking about this project was having the E & N attached by having the E backwards, and the N coming off of the vertical of the E so something like that is one way you can go to varying degrees and with different sorts of fonts.This is a necessity in the design.

I was also thinking of having something where the Backwards E and the N are attached with my full name being spelled out (Eric to the left and Nisall to the right) from there as well and the words "dot com" in a small font right below it.

Also, I was thinking of the E & N being deep red & navy blue (each letter one of the colors) with the rest of the letters in black.

Those are just some ideas I was kicking around in my own head...feel free to come up with some other samples you think would work in a similar way.

And, please feel free to ASK QUESTIONS that will make it easier for you to design something that has a chance of me selecting it before submitting
entries.

Oh, one last thing...please don't message me every time you submit a design and ask for thoughts. I'll know when entries are submitted, and I do have a job and life that doesn't revolve around being online. I PROMISE I WILL COMMENT ON THE SUBMISSION WHEN I HAVE THE TIME.

Please keep in mind that this is going to be a serious brand, and I am published on major websites. If you have a feeling that your idea may be too cartoonish, childish, or unprofessional looking then please take a moment to reconsider the design before submitting it.

Also please note that:

1. The "EN" needs to be the focal point
2. A single color is not going to work for me
3. SPELLING THE NAME WRONG IS NOT ACCEPTABLE
4. If you wouldn't use this on your own website or social profile don't bother submitting it to me
5. If you don't understand the brief, PLEASE CONTACT ME TO ASK FOR CLARIFICATION ON WHAT YOU DON'T UNDERSTAND.

Understand, I'm not trying to be difficult, but I am a professional and require the logo that will represent me also be of professional quality.
