EDIT #4: SO i just spoke with the people making our business cards and they print in CMYK and not RGB, so all designs submitted must be submitted in CMYK.

EDIT #3: So we have narrowed it down to 4, thank you everyone else for you contributions and creativity and congratulations to the 4 finalists, they will all be rated as 5 stars and i would like to see a few variations on the selected designs.

EDIT #2: So what I plan to do it pick my favorite 10-20 by thursday evening or friday morning EST(time for me here in New York) then i plan to show it to a bunch of people over the weekend and narrow it down to 2 or 3 by monday and have some very solid, pointed feedback, then hopefully i can work with those people for a few days early next week and pick a winner by early to mid next week. In terms of the final one i pick i will of course need it in all different file formats. I will need it in a few different colors, and different colored backgrounds, and a version with the name and one with just the letters. None of that in necessary now, i only need one version, I'm just looking more to design and flow and something that pops or just something that i fall in love with, colors and stuff can all be tweaked closer to the end, i'm just letting you know what will be expected of the winner.

EDIT: While i will consider any designs, i am far less likely to select one that is not on a transparent background, for the different purposes that we will be using this logo it will make it much easier on us if the logo does not have a background so that we can place it over anything and not have to worry about how they will work.

We are looking for designs for our company logo. We plan to use the letters MPS in the logo. We are developing and bringing to market a nanoparticle delivery system that allows DNA or other genetic material to be delivered to cells. So we were thinking maybe something with a double helix for the DNA and maybe something similar to UPS or Fedex or one of the other delivery services. We are looking for something clean and simple, yet modern with a slick streamlined feel to it. I have uploaded a working logo we have made. I would be looking for some submissions to just take that image and improve on it, while I would like some other to incorporate a double helix running either vertically or horizontally. I would also be open to new and different designs but I think that I would prefer that they all use the letters MPS in the logo, tho I would be open to the addition of an object or something else, don't want to limit creativity.

One more thing, we can planning to use this logo on our business plan, cards and website, so we are thinking that having the logo on a transparent background may be best for all of our different uses. The reason for this is so that the background color can show through when we place the logo on top
